A Fundamental Moment for the Accuracy of Jyotisha, the Astrology of Ancient India
A very important aspect in the Analysis of a Birth Chart through Jyotisha, that is, the Astrology of Ancient India, is the accuracy of the time of birth and the corresponding exact minute of birth.
It is a piece of information that almost no one possesses with absolute precision, or at least 99% of People do not truly know.
This may happen because no one paid sufficient attention to the clock at the moment of birth, because the time was written down later, or because there is not enough knowledge to determine exactly which moment should be considered the one in which we enter this world.
Ancient Vedic Astrology gives us the possibility, after a considerable amount of analytical work, of tracing back to that precise moment: the hour and minute of a day in Life when the Door that was meant for You opened so that you could enter this world.
This allows access to your TRUE Birth Chart, or Horoscope as it is called, somewhat reductively, in the West.
The Importance of the Time and Exact Minute of Birth
To explain the incredible importance of the exact moment in which you came into this world — that hour and minute which determine your astrological picture, that is, the exact planetary configuration at birth — we can use a particularly significant example: twins.
There are many twins in the world, People born in pairs or even in greater numbers.
Twins can be born one minute, a minute and a half, or just a few minutes apart.
Apparently they possess the same astrological picture and they may certainly present remarkable similarities.
Yet their lives, their Karma and the situations they encounter may be profoundly different.
Even where certain elements are shared, their respective karmic Paths may develop in completely different ways.
This represents a very important test in which many Astrological Disciplines are unable to explain adequately what we can concretely observe in Life.
Jyotisha, on the other hand, possesses tools that are extremely sensitive to variations in birth time.
An error of one or more minutes may, in certain parts of the analysis, mean reading the Horoscope of a twin who was never born.
The wrong minute may tell the story of another Person who shares some points with you, but who is not You.
Why the Sign Alone Is Not Enough
The most widespread form of Western Astrology, for example the horoscopes based exclusively on the Sun Sign, tends to group People born during the same period of the year and attribute many common characteristics to them.
But a simple observation of Life shows how deeply different People born in the same period can be.
Jyotisha uses a much more articulated structure of analysis.
The Birth Chart, or Horoscope, is not observed only through the main Diagram, the Rashi, but through numerous tools that allow different areas of Life to be explored in greater depth.
Varga and Dasha
Among these tools are the Varga, that is, the Divisional Diagrams, and certain particular systems of Dasha.
The Varga allow specific areas of existence to be analysed with much greater precision than by observing the Rashi alone.
Some of these configurations are extremely sensitive to the time of birth and can change even within a few minutes.
It is precisely for this reason that the exact minute of birth assumes fundamental importance when one wishes to carry out a true and in-depth Analysis of the Birth Chart through the tools of Vedic Astrology.
Birth-time rectification requires time and dedication on my part and may take several hours of work.
This work is included in the Birth Chart reading.
How the Exact Minute of Birth Is Determined
To carry out the rectification, I will send you a form to complete in which you can provide the information needed for the calibration of the exact minute of birth.
In essence, I will ask you for certain dates in your Life connected with significant events that actually occurred.
The different possible birth times are compared through the tools of Jyotisha, the Varga and the Dasha, checking which configuration corresponds most precisely with the events of Life.
It is painstaking and meticulous work, but necessary when one wishes to make full use of the precision offered by the Vedic Astrology of Ancient India.
If you are interested in knowing that Moment and everything that follows from it — your Karma, that is, the Path that you yourself prepared in other times and in other places — the Map of the Planets of this incredible Reality that is Life itself, then Jyotisha can be of help.
Analysis of the Astrological Configuration of a Son or Daughter
In the case of analysing the celestial configuration of a child or adolescent, at least up to around the age of 15, it is useful to compare their Birth Chart with that of the mother.
A child or young adolescent generally does not yet possess a sufficient number of significant Life events to allow an accurate reconstruction of the exact minute of birth.
From the mother’s Birth Chart it is possible to observe the son or daughter and obtain an important initial frame of reference.
This is then defined more accurately through the child’s own astrological configuration and can help in tracing back to the exact minute of birth.
What a True Birth Chart Analysis Does
The Reading of the astrological picture, that is, the Analysis of the Birth Chart or Horoscope, gives us the possibility of understanding the astrological patterns, that is, the patterns of Karma that are operating in our Life, so that we can face them prepared and understand what our Karma is presenting to us.
We can use a simple example.
When we arrive for the first time in a large city, it is very useful to have a map of that city with us.
It allows us to orient ourselves, choose the route, save precious Time and perhaps avoid certain difficulties along the way that can be prevented when we become aware in advance of the road we are travelling.
The Birth Chart can perform a similar function.
It is a Map that allows us to understand better the territory in which we are moving and to develop greater Awareness of the Path to choose.
Time is a precious Asset and should be spent with care and Consciousness.
