Recommended Gem and Stone for the Sun

The Sun is the animating force and represents the soul of the Kalapurusha as well as our own.

Those who have a well-placed Sun in the natal chart will hardly experience failures in life. They will always stand in the foreground whatever sphere of life they move in. At higher levels they may become a statesman, a prominent politician (obviously, it is always necessary to examine the entire planetary balance in the chart under consideration, so that such a projection may be confirmed). In other areas of life they will in any case hold a significant role.

The principal Gem for the Sun is the Ruby set in Gold. It is possible to replace it with Garnet, a considerably more economical Gem but also one of lesser effect. Ruby is suitable when set in a ring, as is Garnet, although in the latter case it is preferable to make it into a necklace to be worn in contact with the skin. In the case of the ring, it is important that there be an opening through which the ray of light passing through the Ruby may pass. Garnet is better if it remains in contact with the skin.

It is strongly recommended not to wear these Gems when one has a pronounced internal Fire.
